‘MEDICAL TESTS’: PLAYER ABOUT TO LEAVE ARSENAL FOR GOOD – JOURNALIST

Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun is reportedly about to leave the Gunners for good.

According to Rudy Galetti, Folarin Balogun is on the verge of leaving Arsenal for AS Monaco in the summer transfer window.

The Italian journalist has reported on Twitter that Monaco have already booked medical tests for Arsenal striker Balogun.

The 22-year-old USA international striker is expected to complete a move to the Ligue 1 outfit in the next 48 hours.

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with Balogun, but it seems that Arsenal are about to sell the youngster to Monaco instead.

Leaving Arsenal for AS Monaco good for Folarin Balogun

In our view, leaving Arsenal for AS Monaco in the summer transfer window would be a good move for striker Folarin Balogun.

Balogun is a very good and promising young striker who needs to play week in and week out to have a successful career.

There is no point in the youngster staying at Arsenal and playing second fiddle to Gabriel Jesus, especially given how well he did last season.

Balogun spent last season on loan at Reims from Arsenal.

The American star made 34 starts and three substitute appearances in Ligue 1 last season.

The striker scored 21 goals and gave two assists in those games.

Balogun could do well for Monaco in Ligue 1 too.

Monaco are a big club that recently won the Ligue 1 title and regularly challenge for the UEFA Champions League places in the table.
