‘SUPER IMPORTANT’ ARSENAL PLAYER WILL NOT PLAY VS MANCHESTER UNITED
Arsenal defensive midfielder Thomas Partey will reportedly not play against Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.
According to Ghana FA, Thomas Partey suffered an injury in training with Arsenal, who will lock horns with Manchester United at home in the Premier League in a few hours’ time.

A statement on the Ghana FA’s official website reads that the 30-year-old will not feature for the Ghana national football team in the upcoming matches.
“Arsenal ace Thomas Partey is left out of the squad due to injury,” the statement reads.
”According to his club, the player picked up an injury in training and could be on the sidelines for a while, however the Black Stars medical teams is monitoring the situation.”
This means that Partey, who has been described as “a super important player” by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta in The Express, will not play against United today either.
Partey’s injury will come as a bitter blow to Arsenal.
Arsenal manager Arteta has been playing the Ghanaian star at right-back this season.
While the former Atletico Madrid star is a defensive midfielder by trade, he has been doing relatively well at right-back.
It is very likely that Ben White will start at right-back against Manchester United today if Partey does miss the match.
White is a central defender by trade, but the former Leeds United loanee played most of last season at right-back and was very good in that role.
