He spent just a few minutes on the pitch in the 2-2 draw against Fulham having been brought on in added time, and h was given 15 minutes to prove his quality against Man United.
The former Manchester City star did not disappoint, and he could be getting his first start of the campaign when Arsenal travel to face Everton at Goodison Park on September 17.
