A really big positive for us is we’ve got options in the forward area right now. When we’re pushing for goals there’s options to come on.

As fans we’d love to see them all on the pitch at the same time, it would create havoc for the opposition.

I’ve been really impressed with Beto’s performances, he’s only had two games but he’s got something different than Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The way he holds the ball up, the way he fights, it’s like he enjoys that a lot more.

Calvert-Lewin prefers to create space in the box and we just fire balls in there for him to attack and get his head on it – his leap is fantastic.

I’d be happy for Beto start against Arsenal, he’s showed enough. He’s new for the opposition so might have that element of surprise and that’s what we have lacked for many seasons. Beto’s a different animal to Calvert-Lewin and that will cause Arsenal problems.

That being said, it would be great to see both Dominic and Beto up front at one point. Do I see him playing 4-4-2? I very much doubt it. Danjuma plays well in that No.10 position, playing off Calvert-Lewin or Beto. Plus there’s McNeil and Harrison to come into the fold.

If Sean Dyche is playing one and brings the other on for the last 20 minutes or so too, it means you’ve got fresh legs against tired centre halves. That’s what Dyche and every manager in the Premier League wants.

Their levels in training will go higher. They’ll be friends, they’ll be high-fiving, they’ll be trying to get an understanding to play with each other – can they get a rhythm?

Danjuma and Beto seem to already have clicked, they look for each other to create opportunities. Are we working on that at Finch Farm? We will be and it’s gonna be more exciting as a Blue going into the season

Other than those two we’ve missed top players like James Rodriguez, someone who has the ability to put it in the danger zone but also who could pitch in with the goals. You want Calvert-Lewin to be on the scoresheet, and Beto, but now we’ve got McNeil, Harrison, Danjuma – can they start chipping in?

It’s gonna be a bit more exciting and there’s gonna be hope that we can win games as we’ve got players that want to wear the royal blue jersey and want to impress the fans, and obviously themselves.

That is a positive problem for Dyche to have, another he must tackle is the midfield. I don’t think he knows what his most balanced midfield is, I don’t think we know as fans either.

Onana, you can see he’s a very talented lad, but you can also see he switches off. He’s got that young mentality – it’s not laziness, he just doesn’t think he doesn’t need to something and opposition won’t hurt us, Sheffield United being a good example. Run two yards and that cross doesn’t happen

The No.6 isn’t an area I don’t think we’ve got covered properly since Gareth Barry left the club maybe.

Idrissa Gueye, we’ve tried to use him there but he hasn’t got the ability to keep the ball. He gives the ball away, too slow, possession play is not his game – his is similar to Kante’s – likes chasing the game, running, nipping in front of players.

Doucoure gets goals, he’s not a natural finisher but something seems to happen when Doucoure is in the opposition box. He’s got that ability to start play but also has the legs to be a number in the box. Can Onana do that in the Premier League for 90 minutes? I don’t see it, so his future could be as a No.6.

James Garner, can he be brought into his main position for a run of games?

As a No.6 you’ve got to be patient, stick to the game plan and not chase down the ball. While it can be boring, that’s your job. Dyche has got his favourites, but whoever he picks they’ve got to be like that and have that mentality. Don’t touch the ball for a while? Don’t care. Stick to the position and do the job.
