‘LAZY’: TALKSPORT PRESENTER ALAN BRAZIL TEARS INTO ARSENAL STAR

Eddie Nketiah is a very good striker and is an important player in Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta’s team, but talkSPORT presenter Alan Brazil does not seem to have been impressed by the Gunners star.

Former Tottenham Hotspur forward and talkSPORT presenter Alan Brazil has said that Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah “is a bit lazy”.

Brazil has noted that the 24-year-old striker is “always offside”.

Nketiah could make his debut for England when the Three Lions take on Australia on Friday.

Alan Brazil on Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah

Brazil said about Nketiah on talkSPORT (8:13am, October 13, 2023): “I want Eddie to do really well.

“I think he is a bit lazy.

“Sorry, he is lazy. He is always offside, he is always offside.

“He doesn’t look across the line.”

My View: Eddie Nketiah is not lazy

I do not think that Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah is lazy at all.

The 24-year-old does work hard for the team.

Now, Nketiah is not a striker who runs a lot like Gabriel Jesus does.

The Englishman is not going to offer you much in terms of cutting in from wide areas.

But, Nketiah is a proper ‘striker’.

The 24-year-old is very good in and around the opposition’s penalty area.

Just because Nketiah is at his best in and around the penalty area does not make him lazy.

That is just his game.

Nketiah has made 97 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

The Arsenal striker has scored 16 goals and given three assists in those games.
