ARSENAL MANAGER MIKEL ARTETA REALLY LIKES £325,000-A-WEEK CHELSEA PLAYER

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta worked with Raheem Sterling at Manchester City, and he reportedly wanted to sign the Chelsea star.

The report has claimed that Arteta wanted to sign Sterling, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, a year ago and “explored the possibility” of bringing him to the Emirates Stadium.

Arteta worked with the £325,000-a-week (Spotrac) star when he was a coach at City.

Sterling joined Chelsea from Manchester City in the summer of 2022.

My View: Raheem Sterling would have a huge success at Arsenal

In my opinion, Chelsea and England international attacker Raheem Sterling would have been a huge success at Arsenal.

Sterling may not have been at his absolute best at Chelsea, but we cannot really blame him.

After all, the Blues have had managerial changes and have been in on-pitch turmoil for a while.

Things are only just started to settle down at Chelsea.

I believe that because of Sterling’s ability to score goals, clever movements and mobility, he would have been an asset for Mikel Arteta at Arsenal.

Sterling has made 356 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

The 28-year-old has scored 118 goals and given 59 assists in those games.
