Arsenal travel to Stamford Bridge for today’s much-awaited Premier League derby against Chelsea.

The Gunners have had a good start to the campaign with 20 points from their opening eight games. They are currently behind leaders Tottenham Hotspur on only goals scored.

Mikel Arteta’s side will be aiming to continue the good run against the Blues. They have won in their last three trips to the stadium and will be hoping to clinch another three points.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Line-up:

David Raya has been the undisputed choice for the Premier League games since his debut in late September. The Spaniard is expected to continue between the sticks ahead of Aaron Ramsdale once more.

The backline could stay unchanged from the victory over City. Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko are guaranteed their spots in the full-back positions. The same can be said for William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes in central defence.

Saliba withdrew from international duty with France with a foot problem and he was not spotted in the training pictures yesterday. In our opinion, Arteta could be playing mind games as the Frenchman had no trouble against the Cityzens.

In midfield, the manager should go with his strongest combination. Jorginho was nervous in the opening exchanges against City before the break. We would personally prefer Thomas Partey in the number six position for the London derby.

In that case, Declan Rice would have the chance to play in a more creative midfield position with Martin Odegaard in the number 10 role. Further forward, we anticipate two changes with Eddie Nketiah and Leandro Trossard missing out.

Bukayo Saka was deemed injured before the City clash but considering his exceptional recovery levels, we anticipate him to return on the right wing. Gabriel Martinelli, who scored the match winner versus City, is expected to start on the left flank with Gabriel Jesus set to lead the line.
