Legendary former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry has met with Jurrien Timber and his brother, Quinten Timber, at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal signed Jurrien Timber from Ajax in the recent summer transfer window. The 22-year-old defender caught the eye in pre-season, impressing with his defensive solidity, attacking intent, and versatility. The Dutchman is able to play in any position across the backline.

However, disaster struck for Timber in the first Premier League match of the season when he sustained an injury against Nottingham Forest which may well keep him out for the rest of the campaign.

Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal fans will be hoping that the player is able to quickly get back to his best once his rehabilitation is complete and that he will be able to make up for lost time in north London next season.

In the meantime, the Gunners have also been linked with a move for his twin brother, Quinten Timber. The midfielder currently plies his trade for Feyenoord, and has enjoyed a fine season in the Netherlands so far.

Both of the Timber twins were recently at the Emirates Stadium together, in the company of Thierry Henry, as revealed by Jurrien Timber’s recent Instagram post.

Of course, it is likely that Quinten Timber was simply visiting his brother, and was treated to a visit to the Arsenal stadium in the company of the iconic Frenchman.

However, there is a chance that the Feyenoord man’s presence in London is connected to the Gunners’ interest in securing his services. Arsenal are certainly in the market for a new midfielder, having been linked with a number of potential acquisitions in that part of the pitch.

Quinten Timber would be an exciting addition to the squad, especially if he can hit the ground running in anything like the way his brother did prior to his cruel injury.

Posting on his Instagram, the Arsenal defender showed footage of his siblings meeting with Arsenal icon Henry at the ground, where there was an embrace and some conversations.

There’s no guarantee that anything said was about a potential move though, leading to just more speculation in the coming weeks of the window.
