Peter Crouch has claimed that he’s been raving about Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White for a number of years.

Well, it would appear as though the former Premier League striker is a huge fan of Forest sensation Morgan Gibbs-White.

The player has grown as a player in the last couple of years, with the Forest man becoming integral for the Reds.

This season has been a bit of a slow burner for Gibbs-White but he has managed three goals and four assists.

Crouch has been monitoring the progress of Gibbs-White for a while and he’s raved about the Forest man.

He told That Peter Crouch Podcast: “Morgan Gibbs White I have been talking about for years. I remember playing against him for Wolves in pre-season as a youngster and saying he’s a bit of a player him.

“They spent a lot of money on him but I think he’s the main man there now. The fans love him. He did a bit of skill the other day where the fans were off their feet. He has got a lot of ability.”

Nuno Espirito Santo is a huge fan of Forest star Gibbs-White and he’s really started to kick on under the new head coach.

Gibbs-White integral to fortunes this season

In our view, Forest have to hope that Gibbs-White can stay fit if the club is to remain in the Premier League this season.

On his day, Gibbs-White is electrifying and he can make something out of nothing when he’s in the mood.

At 24 the player is going to be a star in the future and it looks as though he will remain in the Premier League next season – even if Forest don’t.

Gibbs-White might have cost a lot but ultimately, he’s proved to be worth his weight in gold and he’s the first name on the team-sheet.
