On Saturday, Arsenal made it two clean-sheet wins in a row away at claret-and-blue opposition in the Premier League.

The Gunners followed up their 6-0 hammering of West Ham with a 5-0 beating of Burnley to keep up the pressure on Liverpool.

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard opened the scoring in the fourth minute, firing into the bottom-right corner from outside the box.

Then, in the 41st minute, the Gunners won a penalty after Lorenz Assignon fouled Leandro Trossard, and Bukayo Saka made no mistake from the spot.

The Arsenal star boy went on to score again early in the second half. He cut inside a Burnley defender and hammered the ball into the roof of the net.

Then, in the 66th minute, Trossard got on the scoresheet, netting after a Kai Havertz toe-poke was blocked into the Belgian’s path.

On 78 minutes, Havertz rounded off the scoring, nutmegging Dara O’Shea and putting Arsenal’s fifth past James Trafford.

Jakub Kiwior now shining for Arsenal after difficult start to the season
The Gunners are showing title-winning form at present, and players who were previously getting slated are now shining.

While Havertz is the obvious example, Jakub Kiwior also deserves his flowers after another impressive display.

Earlier this season, there were times when the 24-year-old was struggling, which led to criticism and speculation over his future.

Kiwior struggled when asked to invert, and now Arteta seems to have taken that responsibility off him, giving it to Ben White instead

As a result, Kiwior now looks more comfortable and it’s showing in the form of improved displays.

On top of defending really well throughout, he helped create the fourth goal with a run forward and assisted the fifth with a quick long throw.

Since Kiwior came in, Arsenal have not conceded in the last 225 minutes. It looks as though Arteta has finally found a really good solution at left-back
