Arsenal keep trust in Kai Havertz

The 24-year-old forward joined the Gunners last summer from Chelsea on a big-money deal.

The German international struggled at the start of the season as he was looking to settle down at his new club. He received loads of criticism from fans and pundits but Mikel Arteta supported him thick and thin.

Even before this game, Arteta was full of praise for Havertz, and he was certain that the former Chelsea attacker will come good.

Havertz has now managed five goals and an assist in 17 starts in the Premier League. His performances have greatly improved at the turn of the year, and now it feels like he’s gradually getting back to his best form.

Rice and Havertz – the two summer signings – are expected to play a big role this season as Arsenal are firmly in the race for a thrilling title race.

Liverpool are still leading at the top but there are lots of games left to be played. There could be lots of twists and turns from now till the end of the season, and it’s hard to predict who will win the title, especially after Man City dropped points against Chelsea today.

Arsenal fans will be pleased with what they have seen from both Rice and Havertz so far.
