The former United defender very simply replied: ‘Leny Yoro’.
And it did not stop there, with Ferdinand also suggesting that Yoro is a better defender than Marc Guehi and Levi Colwill.
The Red Devils have not exactly made the strongest start to the season and sit on -2 goal difference, yet Ferdinand feels Yoro is a better defender than Branthwaite.

In Branthwaite’s absence, Michael Keane has really impressed for Everton, on the back of his own new deal at the club.
The Everton veteran has been a solid option for Moyes, and he is expected to continue at the back on Monday.
Speaking to the media ahead of the Merseyside Derby last week, Moyes admitted Branthwaite is making good progress on his rehabilitation.
“Look, they [Branthwaite and Mykolenko] are making progress and we’ll see. We’ve got a couple of other knocks within the camp but we’ll see how they are.
The next international break is just around the corner, whether Moyes will want to rush Branthwaite back before that remains to be seen.
