Sky Sports: Euro Club in Talks to Sign Wolves ‘Sensation’
Eintracht Frankfurt are interested in signing Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee Fabio Silva and have already held initial talks over the 22-year-old’s potential summer arrival, according to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The Bundesliga club have reportedly added Silva, who is spending the season on loan at Las Palmas, to their shortlist and consider him a ‘very interesting’ striker option.
The Portugal international is believed to have emerged as a target for several clubs across Europe amid his impressive season in La Liga and remains ‘one to watch’ ahead of the upcoming window.
Silva is under contract at Wolves until June 2026, meaning he could be available for a cut-price deal after the season.
Frankfurt Eyeing Wolves’ Fabio Silva
The 22-year-old is ‘one to watch’ this summer
Plettenberg, writing on X, revealed that Silva is wanted by several top clubs this summer, including Frankfurt, who have already held initial talks over his summer arrival:
Silva, praised as a ‘sensation’, joined Wolves from Porto in 2020 but has struggled to establish himself as a first-team regular, spending the last three seasons out on loan at Anderlecht, PSV, Rangers and Las Palmas.
The 22-year-old has made 72 appearances for Wolves to date, scoring just five goals and providing six assists.
Silva has been much more promising during his La Liga spell, netting 10 times and registering three assists in 23 appearances for Las Palmas.
He is the club’s top scorer in the league this season and remains focused on Las Palmas’ ongoing relegation battle, with the Gran Canaria-based side currently sitting 18th in the table with seven games to play.
