Arsenal suffered their second defeat in all competitions this term at the hands of West Ham United in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup at the London Stadium on Wednesday night.
Gunners manager Mikel Arteta made several changes to his starting XI for the game, and it proved costly.
Ben White gave West Ham the lead 16 minutes into the game through an unfortunate own-goal, and second-half strikes from Mohammed Kudus and Jarrod Bowen complicated things for Arsenal.
A 96th-minute goal from Martin Odegaard only served as a consolation for the Gunners, and talkSPORT pundit and Arsenal fan Darren Bent was not pleased with their performance, singling out Kai Havertz for criticism after the game.
The former striker took to social media platform X to react to the display of the Germany international.
The 24-year-old started in a three-man midfield alongside Jorginho and Fabio Vieira, but he did not impress and failed to dominate proceedings against the Hammers.

Arteta made five substitutions in the second-half, with Jorginho, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Leandro Trossard, Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah making way for Declan Rice, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and Odegaard, respectively.
However, the changes were not enough as the hosts held on to pick up a deserved win against a dismal Arsenal side.
Arteta cannot be blamed for deciding to give some of his fringe players a chance to prove themselves, but the Gunners have missed out on a great opportunity to win such a competition with the likes of Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United also out.
While he went close to scoring on two occasions in the first-half, Havertz failed to make any meaningful impact in the game, struggled to create opportunities and was largely quiet throughout.
He has not covered himself in glory since joining Arsenal from Chelsea in the summer and is expected to return to the bench for the trip to St James Park on Saturday to face Newcastle United in the Premier League.
