Arsenal could sell their ‘fabulous’ attacker in January to fund Dusan Vlahovic move
Arsenal could be willing to sell one of their homegrown talents to fund a move for a new striker in the January transfer window.
The Gunners are in a good place at the moment following a win over Brighton at the weekend and could look to kick on further in the January window with one or two additions.
A striker is the main position that’s getting mentioned. Reports have suggested Ivan Toney is a target, while long-term target Dusan Vlahovic is also getting a mention again.
And according to Football Transfers, Arsenal could now be willing to sell Eddie Nketiah to fund a move for one of Vlahovic, Toney, or Benjamin Sesko.

According to the report, Crystal Palace hold an interest in signing Nketiah and the Gunners could be open to doing a deal.
The ‘fabulous’ Nketiah came on at the weekend against Brighton to good effect and set up the crucial second goal for Kai Havertz.
However, there has been a constant sense among supporters that Nketiah is not quite good enough to take Arsenal forward in the long-term.
It’s been suggested Nketiah could fetch around £30m into the kitty for Arsenal. Given Vlahovic cost Juventus around £70m and Brentford want at least £60m for Toney, the Gunners will need all the financial help they can get.
Arteta can get better than Nketiah
Eddie Nketiah always does a bit here and there but it’s blatantly obvious he’s never going to get to a level where he’s a world-class striker.
Arsenal need that right now and although they have Gabriel Jesus offering a lot, they still lack a number nine who can bring pure goals to the table.
For Nketiah, a move to someone like Palace might not be a bad thing. He’d be the main man, get regular minutes and be in a team who know they need to improve in terms of goal scoring.
Arsenal and Mikel Arteta know they’re in an amazing position this season. Signing a striker, then, could be decisive in January.
