Maeda’s extraordinary piece of skill, guiding the ball acrobatically over his shoulder and into the top left corner beyond Jack Butland, delivered a vital comeback win for the reigning champions.
It has now tightened a dramatic title race, with Celtic just one point behind Hearts and only two fixtures remaining, while both sides are set to meet in Glasgow on the final day of the season next Saturday.

The message was widely interpreted as a pointed reference to their season ticket renewal campaign.
Following thousands of interactions, reposts and likes, Rangers later removed their original post from their platforms.

Celtic now require just two victories from their final two league matches against Motherwell and Hearts to secure the Scottish Premiership title.
They first face Jens Berthel Askou’s side on Wednesday, before a potentially decisive final-day showdown against Derek McInnes’ league leaders.
On top of that, Celtic also have a Scottish Cup final against Dunfermline later this month as their season reaches a defining stage.
