Wolves Want ‘Phenomenal’ Premier League Star to Replace Cunha
Wolverhampton Wanderers are among a host of Premier League clubs showing interest in Liverpool star Harvey Elliott, according to talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook.
Vitor Pereira’s side have reportedly identified the 22-year-old attacking midfielder as a potential replacement for Matheus Cunha, who is expected to be sold in the upcoming window.
The Brazilian is believed to be in advanced talks to become Manchester United’s first summer signing under Ruben Amorim, with the Red Devils expected to pay his £62.5m release clause in instalments.
Cunha’s departure would leave Wolves with a big void to fill in Pereira’s squad, as he is their top scorer this season with 15 goals in 30 league appearances.

According to Crook, Liverpool are looking to make a hefty profit on academy graduate Elliott this summer as they value the 22-year-old in excess of £40m.
Elliott has publicly admitted he is considering his future away from Anfield after struggling to impress Arne Slot this season, making just one Premier League start and 14 further appearances off the bench.
The English midfielder has been in Liverpool’s ranks since joining from Fulham as a 16-year-old and has amassed 144 senior appearances to date, scoring 14 goals and providing 19 assists.
He was a useful squad player under Jurgen Klopp over the past two seasons, missing just 10 league games and registering 15 goal contributions.
Wolves face strong competition for Elliott this summer, as GIVEMESPORT previously revealed that at least three Premier League clubs are chasing the 22-year-old.
That includes both Nottingham Forest and his former club Fulham, who are queueing up for the ‘phenomenal’ midfielder, along with overseas clubs also checking on his situation at Anfield.
