Alan Shearer couldn’t hold back as he hails Newcastle’s underrated star after stunning international display

Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer has heaped praise on one of the club’s often-underrated stars after an impressive international performance.

The player delivered a standout display on the international stage, once again showing the quality that has made him an important figure for both club and country.

His performance did not go unnoticed, with Shearer particularly impressed by what he saw.

The Newcastle legend, who remains one of the most respected voices around the club, was quick to highlight the player’s contribution and the qualities he brings to the team.

For a player who does not always receive the same level of attention as some of Newcastle’s bigger names, the praise from Shearer represents a significant acknowledgement of his importance.

The international display also comes at an interesting time for Newcastle, with manager Matthias Jaissle continuing to shape his squad and demand more from his players.

The performance will undoubtedly give the club plenty of encouragement, particularly with the player demonstrating that he can perform at a high level away from the Premier League as well.

Shearer’s comments have also sparked further discussion among Newcastle supporters, with many fans agreeing that the player deserves greater recognition for his performances.

With the new season progressing, Newcastle will be hoping that the player can carry his international form back to club football and continue making an impact for Jaissle’s side.

And if his latest performance is anything to go by, Shearer may not be the only one beginning to recognise just how important the underrated Newcastle star could become.
