Matheus Cunha has posted a heartfelt message on Instagram ahead of his likely exit from Wolves.
The expectation now is that Cunha will leave Wolves to join Manchester United, following weeks and months of speculation.
United are moving for Matheus Cunha in the hope that the Brazilian can work his magic for them in effectively the same system that Wolves play.
It is now a question of when Cunha joins United and not if, with an agreement on personal terms now in place.
The public nature of Cunha’s move to United has been a frustrating aspect of the last few months of the season for Wolves fans.
Many can’t wait for it to be over at this point – and it seems like an announcement could be made very soon, with Cunha making an ominous Instagram post.

Cunha further fuelled speculation he’s leaving Wolves as he appeared to wave goodbye to fans at Molineux after the draw with Brentford at the weekend.
The star has wanted to join United for some time now, and their failure to win the Europa League has not deterred him.
Some don’t really understand his choice given United’s woes in recent times.
But Cunha is said to love United and see them as one of the biggest clubs in the world.
He’s going, and the player has today posted what appears to be farewell message on Instagram.
He writes: “Wolves, what can I say to you? What an incredible season. We didn’t get to where you deserve to be, but we did everything we could to make you proud. I love these guys.
“Individually, it was the best season of my life. All of this was only possible because of all the dedication and love I have for this club. I became the Brazilian with the most goals in a Premier League season, along with @roberto_firmino and @gabriel.martinelli 🫶🏽🇧🇷.
“I made mistakes and got things right, but always because I lived this club so much. All I ever wanted was to do the impossible for Wolves. Another one is over. And thank you all for all the affection.”

Cunha is a flawed genius who will never be forgotten at Wolves
Cunha has largely been a joy to watch in a Wolves shirt.
He’s done things on the pitch that no previous Wolves player has been capable of, and he’s very much someone you pay your money to watch.
His exit from the club this summer has been inevitable for some time now, and he should go with the well-wishes of fans.
It’s good to see him taking accountability. He has indeed made some mistakes during his time at Molineux.
But he’s also had some incredible moments and without his contributions, Wolves might not be playing in the Premier League next season.
