Shock Twist: Saudi Club Set Their Sight On Nottingham Forest Star In a Lucrative Deal – Nuno Espirito Santo Left Reeling by Transfer Bombshell as star threatens to leave the club at the end of the season!
Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo is said to be a target for Al-Hilal.
The Saudi Pro League club are looking for a new manager after the departure of Jorge Jesus.
And Nuno is one of two Premier League managers they have “set their sights on”, according to talkSPORT, alongside Fulham boss Marco Silva.
Jesus departed Al-Hilal last Friday and said: “It’s been two years of total dedication, historic achievements, and immense pride in leading an extraordinary group.
“Thank you, Al-Hilal. Thank you to everyone who was part of this unforgettable journey.
“I carry every victory, every challenge, and every applause in my heart.”
Mohammed Al-Shalhoub has been placed in interim charge of the club, who are said to want a new manager in place in time for the Club World Cup next month.
Nuno has already managed in the Saudi Pro League, having previously been in charge of Al-Ittihad for 16 months between July 2022 and November 2023, winning the Saudi Pro League and Saudi Super Cup.
He has worked wonders since taking charge at the City Ground and Forest could clinch a top-five finish in the Premier League this season and qualification for next season’s Champions League.
TalkSPORT also claim Jose Mourinho is “under consideration” for the job.
