Wolves are now willing to pay £30M to sign 6ft4 star in big summer move with 26 G/A this season
Wolverhampton Wanderers are tracking Tim Kleindienst, who has enjoyed a stellar season for Borussia Monchengladbach, according to Caught Offside.
Wolves looked set for another relegation battle this season, having faced their struggles in recent Premier League campaigns. Despite a strong first term in charge, Gary O’Neil was sacked from his position as head coach in late 2024, with Wolves, at the time, conceding far too many goals and hovering around, or in, the bottom three.
In O’Neil’s place, Wolves appointed Vitor Pereira and the Portuguese has overseen a remarkable turnaround at Molineux. Under Pereira’s guidance, Wolves have soared away from the bottom three and now, having secured their safety, can look ahead to the new season.
Wolves will, no doubt, have to invest, particularly if Matheus Cunha departs the club. It would appear, however, that the Midlands side already have a forward target in mind.
Wolves Keen on Kleindienst
Numerous clubs are tracking the striker
As per Caught Offside, Borussia Monchengladbach striker Tim Kleindienst is on Wolves’ radar. After three years with Heidenheim, Kleindienst moved to Gladbach in the summer of 2024 and has enjoyed a stellar debut season with the club, going onto make his debut for the German national team as a result of his form.
Kleindienst will turn 30 this year and as such, is within the prime years of his career. Wolves’ interest is more than understandable, as Kleindienst would offer some brilliant competition to the likes of Jacob Strand Larsen in Pereira’s team.
According to Caught Offside, Monchengladbach would demand, roughly, between £25 and £30 million for their star striker. Should the club fail to qualify for European competition, then Kleindienst may have to be sold and clearly, there are teams on standby for if that happens.
Wolves were interested in Kleindienst last winter and it is understandable as to why their interest has persisted. Such is the allure of the Premier League, that Wolves may well be able to convince the striker into a move, which would be a brilliant addition for the club.
