Wolves Star Fabio Silva Sends Shockwaves After Stunning Move Involving Lamine Yamal – Fans Can’t Believe It

Wolves are going to be selling several players this summer and it is expected Fabio Silva will be on the transfer list.

It was claimed recently that Silva will leave Wolves permanently this summer, five years after signing from FC Porto.

Wanderers had wanted to offload Fabio Silva last summer, but suitable offers were not forthcoming. So he headed out on loan to Las Palmas.

It was his fourth loan spell, and potentially his most successful one yet.

Silva will now come back to Wolves to sort out his future, after scoring 10 goals for the Spanish outfit in 25 appearances.

Sadly he couldn’t feature in any of Las Palmas’ final six games due to injury, and that was tough on them because they ended up getting relegated.

But it was a successful season for Silva on a personal note, and there’s now been a development that will really please Molineux officials.

Wolves striker Fabio Silva nominated for La Liga U23 Player of the Season

This season was all about Silva playing and scoring regularly.

Silva has previously admitted he never really wanted to join Wolves and it has been clear the club need to get him off the books.

Thankfully, he’s had a productive spell in Spain.

And now, Silva has done something which may see his stock rise even further, going into the summer.

Following the end of the 2024/25 season in La Liga, Silva has been nominated for U23 Player of the Season, and is on the shortlist along with some big names such as Lamine Yamal, Pedri, Arda Güler and Jude Bellingham.

Realistically, Yamal will probably win the award having had an outstanding season for title-winners Barcelona.

But Silva merely being on this list is bound to be something Wolves can use in their negotiations with other clubs, as they attempt to squeeze out as much money as possible.

Silva can boost Wolves’ transfer kitty this summer

Wolves still stand to make a loss on Silva this summer after initially paying Porto £35 million for his transfer.

But after the season he’s just had, Wolves can now expect to command a decent fee for the player.

Previously, it has been suggested Wolves will ask for around £21 million for Silva this summer.

But given the high number of clubs that are interested in Silva, and the fact he was officially one of the best U23 players in La Liga in 2024/25, perhaps Wanderers can raise that asking price slightly.
