The Scottish Premiership title battle is heading for a dramatic final-day decider between league leaders Hearts and second-placed Celtic after both sides picked up massive victories on an incredible evening of football.

Hearts cruised to a dominant 3-0 victory over Falkirk at Tynecastle, climbing to 80 points. First-half strikes from Frankie Kent and Cammy Devlin handed them complete control against the Bairns before Blair Spittal wrapped up the win later in the match. Liam Gordon appeared to have rescued a crucial point for Motherwell with five minutes remaining and looked to have placed Hearts within touching distance of the title, but Kelechi Iheanacho converted from the penalty spot after Sam Nicholson was judged to have handled the ball inside the area following a VAR intervention. Iheanacho kept his composure to send the title race into the final weekend.

Celtic now sit on 79 points and will welcome Hearts on Saturday lunchtime. Victory for the Hoops would see them retain the Premiership title, while Hearts only need a draw or win to become champions of Scotland for the first time since 1960.
