After Derby County survived on the final day of the 2024/25 campaign, John Eustace will be looking to bring in new faces as he builds a squad capable of a mid-table finish at the minimum.
The turnaround that the Rams saw after Eustace arrived was simply sensational. At one point, the East Midlands outfit were seven points from safety, but a 0-0 draw against Stoke City in their last game saw them stay up by a point.
CEO Stephen Pearce stated in May that a busy transfer window was ahead, and work has been ongoing off the pitch to get the club prepared for their second successive campaign in the Championship.
EFL Analysis has taken a look at every single outgoing and incoming this summer, as Derby prepare for an exciting 2025/26 second tier season.
Every Derby incoming of the summer transfer window
The transfer window has been through a makeover this year, and it opened on June 1, before it shuts again on June 10. This is mainly down to the FIFA Club World Cup in the USA, with those involved able to bring in new signings before the tournament starts.
However, the window opens once again on June 16, before coming to a permanent end in on September 1 at 7pm as opposed to the regular 11pm.
Derby are still awaiting their first new arrival, but with Craig Dawson already a target and Nat Phillips well liked by Eustace, it may not be too long until David Clowes empties his pockets for the first time this summer.
Every player that has left Pride Park this summer
While there has been little action in terms of new faces, the Rams have let go of multiple players already this summer.
At the start of May, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing became the first contracted player to depart. He has reunited with former boss Paul Warne at MK Dons in League Two, with no fee being paid for the winger.
Derby made three signings after the January transfer window concluded, and all three departed at the end of their contracts. Jeff Hendrick, Kemar Roofe and Erik Pieters played just 11 minutes between them in 2024/25, with the former failing to feature at all, while third-choice goalkeeper Rohan Luthra has also left.
Elsewhere, promotion winners Tom Barkhuizen, Sonny Bradley, Tyrese Fornah and Conor Washington all departed at the end of their contracts.
Bradley and Fornah had spent time on loan at Wycombe Wanderers and Salford City last season, while Barkhuizen has been used as a rotation option by Warne and Eustace. However, Washington did not make one appearance in the Championship, as he struggled for fitness and form.
